Tekken 6
Written by w2n on December 19, 2006 – 12:13 amAt E3 in 2006, Sony rolled with a lengthy series of brief game trailers demonstrating some of the titles currently in development for the system. One of the more highly anticipated of these was Tekken 6, first revealed for the PlayStation 3 at Sony’s press conference a year ago. The game was shown very briefly in the form of a trailer during the press conference, which was cut from a longer version shown by Namco Bandai.
The trailer seemed to blow by in less than a minute and consisted mostly of a one-on-one fight between demonically possessed karate expert Jin Kazama and Lili, a new character who’ll first be playable in Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the PSP. It was difficult to tell what was so special about the female fighter’s moves since, early on in the fight, Jin delivers a crushing punch to her abdomen. Jin’s skin showed different scars and shades, giving it a sense of realism. Sweat could be seen evaporating from Jin’s body and going down his face. At one point, when he touches his flesh, it moves along with the movement of some sweat droplets. The video portrayed a similar dynamic look that Tekken has followed over the years.
The Tekken 6 logo appears, with a PlayStation 3 logo underneath. The entire trailer is close to five minutes long, though a lot of the time is sucked up by this lengthy outro and the establishing shot. It’s an odd trailer for a fighting game, since there isn’t a whole lot of fighting in it. Though what’s there of the fighting is good stuff. We’re eagerly looking forward to seeing more of Tekken 6 in action.
Tekken 6 is the upcoming installment of Namco’s Tekken series, expected to come out sometime in 2007. While there is no official source confirmation, it is assumed this will be a sequel and not simply an upgrade as Tekken Dark Resurrection was.

I just hope that tekken 6 will have a much better storyline than the previous series. Also I put these assumptions here as these could be some of the hints that might be in the new Tekken based on the conclusion of TDK – ‘Lili would want to kill jin cuz jin took over the mishima zaibutsu (reference to his ending) and she wants him to pay back the damage it caused (which was her father’s company) that became bankrupt.Hwoarang could also be angry with jin/devil jin because of the little accident they had in the highway while he was driving.Hence why in the E3 2006 trailer they were fighting together to finish off jin’.As well as that other characters such as Wang,Asuka,Kazuya would most likely be part of the tekken 6 intro as they have a stronger ending that revolves or ties to jin’s ending(Wang-Would fulfill jinpachi’s wishes,Asuka-would search for her cousin and her angelic powers revealed,Kazuya and the rivalry between his son and father would obviously further increase with his becoming Devil Kazuya). These are some of the hints that I put forward but until namco brings us more information then I cannot know if the E3 2006 trailer is based on the real story since it deviated from the devil gene story(which was tiring and boring).Yet the E3 trailer gives us the impression that namco is working hard to bring us a game that will exceed our expectations of T6.GOOD LUCK NAMCO!

Acording to storyline of Tekken: Dark Resurection, Lili is the only daughter of an oil tycoon residing in Monaco. Four years ago, when she was 12 years old, while being attacked by a criminal group making profits from kidnappings, Lili struggled violently to free herself, and she unexpectedly took out one of her captors. At that moment, she first realized she took pleasure in defeating her opponents. However, deep down, Lili really is a gentle person and a very sweet young lady.
She only wants to please her father, but she knows that he despises fighting. Troubled by her situation, she tells herself, “I don’t want Father to be upset with me…but I also want to fight.” Her desire to fight couldn’t be controlled, and for this reason, she uses her family’s private jet to travel abroad to take part in worldwide street fighting tournaments, which she enjoyed immensely. This was done under the guise of a “vacation” from her homeland.
One day, after defeating an opponent in San Francisco, she acquired an invitation to The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 5. Lili noticed that the sponsor of the tournament, the Mishima Zaibatsu, had caused her father much trouble in the past. With the assumption of the Mishima Zaibatsu being a useful potential asset to her father, she was determined to take part in the tournament and win to put an end to her father’s business troubles.
That`s mean that her father isn`t bangkrupt yet.
